Event Description:
This excellent training is a derivative of the State and Local Anti-Terrorism Training (SLATT) Program, developed by BJA funding, in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, by the Institute for Intergovernmental Research, IIR. The one-day training provides specialized training for law enforcement personnel in combating terrorism and extremist criminal activity. This training will ensure the delivery of the most up-to-date information, terrorism-related topics are constantly researched and reviewed, and timely information is offered regarding pre-incident preparation, investigation, prevention, and interdiction training.
This training will focus on the prevention of terrorism in the United Sates by providing the tools necessary for state, local and tribal law enforcement officers to understand, detect, deter, and investigate acts of terrorism in the United Sates by both international and domestic, or home-grown terrorists.
The program is presented by Missouri-Regional Community Policing Institute via funding from Bureau of Justice Assistance.
